Staying at this hotel was like stepping into a magical Somerset Maugham story with its unique and atmospheric rooms. It truly made us feel like we were in the most exotic location, but the lack of a lift to the top floor might require a bit of fitness. The central location was great for exploring the narrow streets of Stone Town.
Staying at Zanzibar Palace Hotel felt like entering a Somerset Maugham story with its magical atmosphere. The rooms, ornately decorated with a shower facing the bed, offer a unique experience with a walk-in shower, bathtub, nice sitting area, and even plants, boasting a view over Stone Town to the ocean.
I felt like I was living in a Somerset Maugham story with the fantastic and unique atmosphere of the rooms. The hotel truly offers a magical experience. However, the dining experience fell a bit short with some bland options. The location was superb, right in the heart of Stone Town, surrounded by friendly faces. The service received was top-notch, offering an excellent personal touch. Overall, a delightful stay with a few minor drawbacks.
The hotel is situated in the heart of the popular and historical Stone Town, offering a fantastic location amongst the maze-like streets close to the sea front. The rooms, decorated in traditional style with ample space and good air conditioning, provide a delightful stay. Despite some minor issues with the service and dining, the overall experience is charming and worth the visit.
The hotel is like stepping into a Somerset Maugham story, truly magical. The romantic suite Sultana was a beautiful experience, different from your standard corporate hotel. The atmosphere is unique, traditional, and captivating, making it a memorable stay. The service is friendly, kind, and relaxed, enhancing the homely feel. The location at the edge of Stone Town is fantastic for exploring the historic sights and the seafront. The dining offers a taste of the Muslim world with good options, though a few more choices could elevate the experience.
